Finalist – „Grosser Preis des Mittelstandes“
Proud Moment: AES motomation was recognized as one of the Finalist for “Grosser Preis des Mittelstandes,” the German Federal Award for small and medium sized enterprises.
Organized by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation, this contest is voluntary organized, privately financed and certified according DIN ISO 9001:2015 quality management.
Being one of the best, out of several hundreds of nominees, is a monumental accomplishment and a great honor for all of us here at AES motomation.
Assessed were the “overall development of the company”, “employment creation and protection”, “innovation”, “environmental and regional engagement” as well as “services and customer focus”.
End of October, Andreas Hertgens and Paul Waltner from AES motomation had the opportunity to express personally their gratitude to the Business Development Agency of the county Rhein-Kreis-Neuss for the nomination. Its Managing Director, Robert Abts, as well as the Chief Adminstrative Officer of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss county, Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke, were visiting AES motomation in Kaarst.

New High Accuracy Pre-Aligner:

Minister of Scientific visited AES motomation at MEDICA Trade Fair – 2025: A special Exhibition Year:
In November 2024 the Secretary of State NRW for Scientific and Education has visited AES motomation for an exchange of ideas at the NRW MEDICA Pavilion.
2025 will be the year of introducing several innovative, leading-edge wafer handling news. We dignify that fact by using larger booth sizes and new design concepts for our SEMICON West and SEMICON Europa participations. -
AES motomation signed Distributor Agreement with JEL Corporation for US and Europe
AES motomation is proud to announce, that we have signed a Distributor Agreement with JEL for US and Europe in September 2024 after working with JEL robot systems for more than a year.
JEL systems are perfectly supplementing AES motomation’s robot portfolio, covering also small substrates and vacuum handlers. -

On 16th of June AES motomation celebrated its “50th anniversary” – 5 years in Taiwan, 20 years in the US and 25 years in Germany – together with the Grand Opening of its new German facility in Kaarst. With this celebration AES motomation expressed its gratitude to the local authorities, supporting the new construction, to its Japanes principlas for decades of cooperation and last but not least, to all employees, joining from around the world, for their contribution to AES motomation’s success.

Although the new facility in Kaarst is almost finished, AES motomation in Germany will utilize for 3 more months the old Meerbusch facility in parallel to the new facility. By doing so, we can ensure our proven services and customers committments while transfering all activities to Kaarst.

Stadt Kaarst / Schrammen Architekten Groundbreaking of AES motomation’s new German facility in Kaarst
On April 8 the formal groundbreaking of our new German facility was celebrated. With this new facility, featuring also dedicated clean/repair/training rooms, we will be able to serve our customers needs even better and provide our employees with a modern, very appealing work environment.
